King Henry
There are no words that will adequately describe how amazing this is.
The return of the the King, Thierry Henry. Our top scorer. A good man. An Arsenal fan and legend.
Love for football in itself is very often hard to put into words. To many, including me, it is not just a game. Football shapes communities and perspectives, people and news. Football is life. And the devotion that ties one to his club after the ultimate moment of picking an allegiance, that is a pivotal point in life.
I have so many words I would like to use to describe our Thierry, but nothing will every suffice what this man embodies. His style, skills, humility, humour, good looks and just his essence. Just look at the reception he got, and his immense celebration after scoring. Our reflex reactions - those that we automatically engage without thought - I believe are the truest. Henry's elation at scoring for the club he loves speaks more words than the eloquence he oozes during interviews. How I wish all our players loved this dear club like he does. How I wish this loan stint would last more than two months.
They say one should always leave while at the peak of his career. I dare say there is little that will mar the memory and talent that is Thierry Henry. He is living proof that class, indeed, is permanent.
