Problems To Gun Down

I won't pretend to know all the problems, nor have all the answers. But I do have an opinion. You don't have to agree with me. In fact, bearing in mind the recent crazy reactions online, I'm rather pleased no one really reads this blog anymore.

• We don't have depth in any position. Like really, we have NO left-back right now cos everyone's croaked. Yay. 
• Young players are good, but they can't take over the Premier League. I don't think there are manay players who have displayed the desire and hunger of Frimpong or Wilshere. But rash tackles and reactive tempers do us in way too often.
• We have no leadership where it matters. Sorry it's true. I love Robin. LOVE. HIM. But I think the likes of Thomas Vermaelen would make a better captain. He has a better view of play and a more commanding presence. 
• What we really lack though, is direction and purpose in midfield. No point passing the damn ball well if no one knew where it was supposed to go, huh?

I don't know what is going on. Yes, of course I'm worried. Football and this club are my religion and beacon. No, I do not want Wenger to go. Because firstly, no one can replace him right now. Secondly, just because I want changes to come does not mean I want Wenger to go. I do wish he were less stubborn though.

I've said this before - it's not going to be a pretty season. In fact, I fear for next season. What if we don't get Champions League football? Sigh. That said, I will always bleed red and white. And I know, that when the sweet glorious climax comes, it will be mindblowingly awesome. I just hope my heart will hold out till then.
