Dudu Keeps Firing

Yes, Vela scored a beauty. Yes, we won and even Eboue scored. Some of our lads could have done better. There was one lad whom I thought was expressedly poor, but let's keep our thoughts positive, shall we?

The big news of the evening for me, was Dudu scoring another goal!!!For those of you who didn't catch the match, it was a superb strike with the outside of his left shin (credit to great assist from Song). Our Crozilian is so good and I am so proud. The quiet composure of Eduardo is strangely disconcerting for defenders I think. I pray he has many more good years to give to the club.

Nice to know too that Theo is back from that wonky shoulder worry. Let's hope they welded in that joint nice and well. With Arshavin in the ranks, our team actually looks rather complete. That young Russian Gun has class I tell ya. He's got superb senses and technique - he'll do quite well where he is.

Walcott and Van Persie both missed great chances to devastate the scoreline further - once it was cos of the linesman's alarming error in the 83rd minute. A minute later though, Eboue would add to Burnley's nightmare. The critics' and fans' target of late received a stunning backheeled assist from Song and bulleted one into the back of the net. It was actually a rather admirable play.

I didn't have the most wonderful weekend, but nothing's gonna take away my enjoyment of Eduardo's goal. Sweet.
